New adult drivers are not required to obtain a learners permit in order to start behind the wheel training. However, after October 1, 2008 a mandatory 8 hours safe driving practice course must be completed before applying for a driver license. Refer to the DMV website for more information www.ct.gov/DMV . This course can be taken at Frank's Driving School. Call for class time and schedule (Classes also offered in Spanish and Italian).

The "30/8" Program - Adult students over the age of eighteen may take a full driver education course, consisting of a thirty hours class and eight hours driving. This course is truly the best and effective way to become a safe driver and to obtain a license. All necessary material is covered for the written exam, and the student also has the advantage of eight hours of professional driving. Some insurance companies will also give a discount on the full policy to any student who takes this program.

DMV Testing Services - Frank's Driving School will arrange a date and time for your test. Driving tests take place at our schools two to three times a month. Test vehicles will be provided at test time. (For testing schedules, please call for more details).

The Vehicles - Our latest model vehicles are equipped with automatic transmission, A/C and dual controls for your safety.
