Remark by Mateos, E. 2008:48: Poorly documented and status is questionable. Known only from the type locality, Campigna, Italy; described on the basis of only two specimens, one incomplete, and, curiously, Denis describes two different times this species as a new species (in, 1926 and, 1927). |

Remark by Mateos, E. 2008:48: Poorly documented and status is questionable. Described as a new species from Britain; the description is very brief and does not indicate any chaetotaxic character making comparisons with other species impossible. |

Remark by Jordana, R. 2008.12.10: in litt.: Species combination to be revised. This species clearly has 6 + 6 single eyes as in Pseudosinella. |

Remark by Jordana, R. & Baquero, E. 2007:6: P. bachae and P. gajui can be differentiated only by the shape of the tenent hair of the tibiotarsus (Luciáñez & Simón, 1994). In our opinion these two species are the same because, in addition, P. gajui has been described using only one specimen from the same locality and date of P. bachae. For this reason we consider P. gajui a new synonym of P. bachae. |
