Lazulite- and quartz-rich domains and bi-colored lazulite -
Freßnitzgraben, Krieglach, Styria, Austria


         
Description: On the left-hand side are pale green lazulite crystals, +/- parallel orientated.
On the right-hand side are quartz-rich domains with up to 0.5 cm large pale blue lazulite-rich domains and
coarse-grained, grey apatite.
A narrow fragment of the host rock is also enclosed in the center of the right-hand part of the sample.
Locality: Granegg, Freßnitzgraben, Krieglach, Fischbacher Alpen, Styria, Austria.
