hmm....
so what did happen?
to that
seat on the bus?

I never did find out
what became
of it
or the person
on the bus
who was willing
to give up
that seat
for someone like me

All I know is

I know what it's like
to be
the last person
to be able
to find a
seat on the bus

I know what it's like
to be
unable
to find a 
seat on the bus
at all

I know what it's like
to be able
to sit down
alone
on a
double decker seat
and see people
come up on
the bus
chosing to rather
stand
than sit next to me

I know what it's like
to see people
come up on
the bus
and they choose
to rather sit
next to
someone else
than next to me
