Well bois, gurls and fellow freakers new information has been uncovered about the last story I posted "Crashdown Creeps". It seems that I have been set up by someone looking for some small exposure or something. It has come to my attention that the cafe and UFO center is not all it's cracked up to be. This upsets me alot since I spent my day investagating it. The time to drive out to Covina, take pictures and wait around in hopes to see something....which of course there was nothing. This was brought to my attention by a fellow freaker Pandora Mayfair email. Here it is for you to read, and I'll finish with my comments afterwards.

First of all I love your site. The stories are great (my favorite one so far is The DUME Candle)

Second is concerning the story Crashdowwn Creeps. I was reading the story and thinking "Crashdown, crashdown? where have I heard that name before?" Then it suddenly hit me. Crashdown is the name of the cafe from the show Roswell. Well I looked up "crashdown" on Google and sure enough found this page http://www.seeingstars.net/Locations/RoswellPhotos.shtml
The Crashdown Cafe and UFO Center are both buildings in Covina, CA used for Roswell. Sorry if I burst your bubble, but it turns out there is nothing freaky about the cafe....... On the other hand, I can nbpot explain the twins RIP keep seeing or the strange light above the cafe

I have to tell you when I saw this I had mixed reactions. First I was happy that one of our fellow freakers did some investagating and found this info out for us. Second was, I was f*ucking pissed off. I hate being lied to! I try and take people on their word and this is just like a stab in my back and boy I felt like driving to Covina aznd kicking the shit out of RIP. But in the end it all makes since. Why was the cafe front suddenly there? It's called movie magic and it goes the same for the UFO Center. It explains why the place is never open. As for the the "twins"? Hum, could they maybe be actors? Copuld thats why they acted the way they did at the other coffee shop that Derek checked out? Could they be studing for tv and movie parts? The strange glowing lights? More movie magic? Maybe the glow from a tv or computer monitor? There are many things that can now explain it or then again maybe not. So now we all know it's just left over props for a tv show. For those of you who still want to believe then I pose this question to you. If filming for these sspots are now over then why are they still there? Why are the twins still (supposally) seen? Could these spots now be used for something more? Could it be that if something wierd does happen it then can easily be explained that it's just part of the filming for Roswell? I don't know but it's just an overactive mind thinking.
