Choosing to “Try and go back to sleep”
By Saki and Elena Halfelven

You ignore the people standing over you and say, “Since when did you start bringing visitors in to watch me sleep, Mom? And exactly when was my bed replaced by a block of cement? Oh well. Go away! I’m sleeping!”

You roll over and try to go back to sleep, with the nagging sensation that something’s not quite right. These ‘visitors’, however, don’t leave you alone. You are immedietly kicked in the back.

You jump up, howling and screaming at the top of your lungs. All four of the people duck and cover.

“Make it stop!” They yell.

But no. You are beginning to enjoy this power that you have over these people. Your screaming reaches a cresendo, whereupon you must pause for breath

You:

Sing every annoying song your insane friends taught you

Stop screaming; your throat is beginning to get sore.

Attempt to scare them and yell “GROUP HUG!!!!”
