Work today until 6pm. Then, Beth has her Bible Study here at the house. I'll be online working on my next week's Bible study. Last night went well. We studied the Ben Asher versus the Ben Chayim Masoretic Text and the mythological Septuagint.  Everyone participated and seemed to get a lot out of it. Last week, we had reviewed the various Greek texts underlying the New Testament, such as where the United Bible Society, Nestles-Aland-Metzger, and the others (at least 24 different Greek texts) came from (sorry about the preposition). We also studied the earliest Bibles such as the Old Latin, Syriac Peshitta, and Gothic. Not that I'm any kind of expert and I'm certainly no scholar but it is just about our final authority and the question of what constitutes a Bible.
