Hobbies:

My other main hobby is investigating the wonderful creative world of computing.

Check out my Digital Fishtank!

The first ever train set I had was a wee clockwork one then a Triang thing when I was a child. Later on, around three years ago I became interested in N gauge which due to its small size you can achieve a large layout in a small area.

I have found that it N Gauge has its own difficulties with some parts being so tiny they can be easy to lose!

I am currently in a big project to build a N-gauge NZR (New Zealand Railways) layout in my shed. NZR is a 3-foot-six-inch gauge railway system and typically runs through beautiful mountainous scenery.

The backdrop of mine is "anywhere on the West Coast of the South Island.". Here is a picture of the progress I have made. These were taken at the Christchurch Model Train show, October 2004.

If you wish to contact Michael Eder who provides N scale model NZR locos, he can be contacted at Ace Toys Southland email eder.c.bush@watchdog.net.nz

The two locos above are brass NZR N scale made by Andrew Wells email nz120@xtra.co.nz.

I recently purchased two "DC" locos in N gauge made in brass. They look very realistic with the current paint and lettering of the fullsized machines, so I'm very pleased!
