This page covers my efforts to further define the Fleet Courier found in Supplement 9 (Fighting Ships) on page 20. This ship held my interest for a long time, partly because this ship was important in the MegaTraveller milieu (it carried news of Strephon's assasination to the leaders around the Imperium). I have reworked the design for almost all the Traveller ship design sequences available to me. The High Guard version was done in about 1986, the MegaTraveller version in about 1994, the Traveller: New Era version in about 1994, the Marc Miller's Traveller (T4 SSDS) version in 2006, and the GURPS: Traveller version in 1999.

I have also included pictures I have drawn of this ship, and deckplans I worked out for the High Guard version. The deckplans were drawn in about 1986. The pictures were drawn over the period 1986 to 1996.

Courier Designs

Not all of the designs had the benefit of good checking via computer software, and the errata I applied has been somewhat spotty.
