Because of the differences between the two design systems (primarily the way Jump fuel and crew are calculated), the MT design could hold six 30,000 ton battle riders, while the CT design can only hold four. After making those changes the space left over became 5067 tons instead of 533 tons in the MT design. This design requires the rider crews to stay in their own ships instead of having staterooms on the tender.
