Mosquito2 class Merchant Destroyer
The Mosquito2 class merchant raider drops the limited armor and the capture bay, and adds two more ship's boats and some more staterooms and low berths. I also added a backup computer. The "cargo" space goes up by almost three times, but the total open space drops quite a bit. The original Mosquito class had quite a bit of stateroom and low berth space for prisoners, so this version just adds a bit more.

This design has enough armament to overcome most ships in the 400 ton or smaller range. The 16 member marine team allows boarding and capture of most smaller vessels, and they use the four ship's boats when required. A full two frozen watches allow for prize crews and replacement of battle injuries. The design includes several extra staterooms and low berths to accomodate prisoners (as many as 56 "awake" prisoners at a time if the crew goto double-occupancy).
