Architects fees of MCr 5.698), MCr 455.826 in Quantity, plus MCr 64.000 of Carried Craft CONSTRUCTION TIME 120 Weeks Singly, 96 Weeks in Quantity COMMENTS The Mosquito3 class Merchant Raider is designed to capture small merchant vessels to strip them of cargo and other valuables. This design has enough armament to overcome most ships in the 400 ton or smaller range. The armament mix was adjusted from the Mosquito2 class to include a lower factor beam laser battery, a higher factor sand caster battery, and add a fusion gun battery. The design was also adjusted by swapping the standard type Computer 2 for a 2/fib model. The 16 member marine team allows boarding and capture of most smaller vessels, and they use the four ship's boats when required. A full two frozen watches allow for prize crews and replacement of battle injuries. The design includes several extra staterooms and low berths to accomodate prisoners (as many as 56 "awake" prisoners at a time if the crew goto double-occupancy).
