COMMENTS
Designed to be a fairly robust missile bay platform, this ship has a
good level of armor, as well as sandcasters. This ship also has more
than 6 months storage space available. Crew comfort is enhanced by
including several extra staterooms in the design. There are no
sub-craft in this design, but since this is a streamlined design it
is not felt to be a serious limitation. The Sling 2 class dropped
the Meson screen and Nuclear Damper, allowing a smaller power plant.
This allowed enough space to add a Jump 1 drive and fuel. This also
allowed a smaller crew to enjoy the added staterooms.
