COMMENTS
The Tulip12 class is the smallest practical spinal mount armed ship at
TL12.  While it could be a bit smaller, that would remove the sand
caster and laser turrets.  It's only defences are the sandcasters, and
the only offensive armament other than the spinal mount are the lasers.
Upgrading this design from TL11 to TL12 allowed a smaller, yet more
powerful, spinal mount to be installed, and the computer has been
upgraded.  There is about one month of cargo space on this version.
