COMMENTS
The Tulip14 class is the smallest practical spinal mount armed ship at
TL14.  While it could be a bit smaller, that would remove the sand
caster and laser turrets. It's only defences are the sandcasters, and
the only offensive armament other than the spinal mount are the lasers.
Upgrading this design from TL13 to TL14 allowed a smaller, yet more
powerful, spinal mount to be installed, and the computer has been
upgraded.  The entire crew gets individual staterooms.  There are
almost five months of cargo space on this version.
