Tulip class TL15 spinal armed SDB
Here is the TL15 version: I had to put the crew back in double-occupancy, and jack up the number on the power plant (which is much easier at TL15 of course), but I was able to get the size down quite a bit (more than a kiloton). This is the final design in this series of minimum size spinal mount ships.

While it could be a bit smaller, that would remove the sand caster and laser turrets. It's only defences are the sandcasters, and the only offensive armament other than the spinal mount are the lasers. Upgrading this design from TL14 to TL15 allowed a smaller, yet more powerful, spinal mount to be installed, and the computer has been upgraded. Most of the crew are in double-occupancy staterooms. There are almost two months of cargo space on this version.
