Life hasnt been too great lately. My mom has been a real prude and its annoying the shit outta me. I wish she would just mind her own business and realize im not a little kid anymore... So I just got back from working at the carousel. I've been having a pretty crappy day today. So some mom gets off the carousel and shes like "whats the matter?" and im like "im having a really bad day". So an hour later, she and her daugther come back and give me a little box of chocolates. I thought that was the best thing thats happened in a while. That totally made my day and those two totally rock. Funny how a little box can make me feel soo much better. Saturday, a buncha alumnis helped judge the skits at this years Antioch. That made me feel sooo old. Id relive all that again in a heartbeat lol Tuesday was tenative mall day part III (im pretty sure its three) with Jess and Patty. It was a night filled with chicken terriyaki, ice cream, hawt man, screaming in the elevator, and stuff lol. Weds, my piece was performed at the composition recital at school. My parents even came to see it which was cool. I think the piece went great and thanks to Dilyana, Suji, Syeung and Peter for playing it for me! I got some great feedback from everyone as well which was totally awesome
I dont really have anything else to say, so i thought id list peoples song of the time i IMed them lol
JF "catch 22 - kristina she dont know i exist"
taylor "frankie j - obsession"
mickey "sound garden - burden in my hand"
judith "maroon 5 - must get out"
bova "phish - the Dickie Scotland Song"
anat "britney spears - oops i did it again"
alison "nsync and nelly - girlfriend"
timmy canadian brass - the saints hallelujah
cade "soft cell - tainted love"
dantoni "new found glory - i dont wanna know"
kevin "robyn - show me love"
jeremy "sprint - his name is paul"
lesley "garbage - i'm only happy when it rains"
steph "eve 6 - heres to the night"
katie "matthew rossamando - run nigga nigga"

Haven't been able to update this as often as I thought I would but oh well... I'll get over it lol. Let's see how far back I can remember. Me and Bernie hit up Applebees, then went and picked up Nadia for what we pretty called 'The Trip from Hell'. So we decide on driving down Kinderkmack and see where it goes. Low and behold, Kinderkamack turns into a highway right into NY state. So i really didn't know where I was going and tried to make a U-turn in some random exit, which took us to some other random highway. So after driving around for like ever, I look to my left and I see a river and Im like 'Holy crap, if thsi is River Edge, that is the totally wrong river!' So eventually, we ended up somewhere around Englewood Cliffs, we hit their local diner and chilled. That place was crap, not only was it expensive, but they wouldnt let us order from the children's menu!
So schools back in session, here I am at semester 2! I really missed school, it was kinda sad, I just can't get away from McEachern High. I started Strings II this semester; its pretty cool, even if I skipped Strings I lol. The cellos (or celli, whatever) the school rented were 'pieces of absolute crap', as quoted by Meg Frank. So I went out and rented my own, haha I'm not too bad! So the first weekend after the start of the semester, Bohn Hall (one of the biggest dorms on campus) has like a freaking meltdown, a pipe burst, which flooded the electrical room, which cut the heat. So, Bohn was liveable at all. So I offered Jess to come stay at my house! To top things off, we had that freaking blizzard so both of us were stuck inside most of the weekend. All we did was pig out on all the food in the house lol
Last Monday, I took Susie with me to school, shes planning on going to MSU as a music education major. She seemed to have a good time, she pretty much saw that us music majors do absoluetly nothing, and we all just chill which I think she was pretty happy with. My fingers are killing me from Strings II. The cello strings are pretty hard to press... and the bass strings are impossible. I can barely keep my fingers down on the strings, and it hurts! And these things are heavy too! Im used to just sitting down on a bench and going lol. Thursday was Greg's birthday... oh man that was one. Awesome. Night. The end lol It had been really really cold outside! I really cant wait for it to be warm out again, fuck this scarf and heavy jacket, gimme shorts and a tee shirt! Last night was game night. Game night was pretty much just sharades lol. So yea I'm really bad at it... how the hell are you supposed to act out Walmart and Porky Pig! How the hell was Meg able to guess The Little Mermaid with Andrea floping on the ground, then Ronald McDonald?! I dunno, I guess I need some practice. As usual, me and Jess were bored in Theory so we made a family of paper boxes. Origami on top of a piano.... ya can't get any more asian than that baby!

So here we are at the big '05! 2004 whizzed by so fast... I still can't believe highschool is over and Im in college. Heh itll take awhile to hit me. Break has been pretty good, altho I am soooo glad I got a job for break. When I don't have work, it has been sooo boring, I just lay around the house and watch Jerry Springer. Altho work can be really really boring, what what I get paid and what I do, its awesome lol. New Years day, I got to work with Noha, who go figure, we both went to the same elementary school, had the same friends, and never knew each other until now. Mad weird. She's cool, we're gonna go back to Edgewater together sometime. I got to work with Leena too which was pretty cool, I feel so much smarter for some reason. I got to hang out with a few select people during this wonderful break. Me and Kathryn took some random trips around up north, first time we went during the day and saw all these HUGE houses. Then the second time, at like 1am, got pulled over for not stopping at a red right turn and crossing a double yellow line. Heh what can I say, it was mad foggy out lol. Alison came over Friday, we ordered chinese and watched music videos and Xmen2. BAMF! Making fun of the Xmen was great "oh no! i got shot! I shoulda used my power to change the channel!" and discussing what we would do if we had super powers was pretty funny. MikeO and I played Xmen Legends for at least 6 hours afterwards, telekinisis-ing people into tornados, striking them with lightning then bamfing into walls and dying. Yea it was a fairly simple process lol. We would throw boxes at each other and crap, not really paying attention to any of our objectives lol. Then at like 12, we headed to JF's for some Halo2. Mucho fun, except for the fact I kept dying every 30 seconds lol. But the waterfall was mad cool lol

So Saturday was Nadia's sweet sixteen party. Okay so, I read Katie's xanga and shes like "I need clothes for nadia's party! I dont have any 70s clothes!" and im like 70s clothes? I read the invite and the attire is 70s clothes lol. So im like "I dont own any 70s clothes" so I call JF and we figure we both will wear button downs and slacks. Me and Katie get there and everyone is dressed hardcore in 70s clothes lol not to mention hardcore young heh heh... we're so old now! The party overall was a blast, I needed to let loose on the dance floor... heh yea I know i can't dance, fook you! Then Sunday, I made a trip to visit Kristen and Kara. Okay so the ride back is what was the best lol. Me and Kristen leave Kara's house all set for me to take Kristen back home. So we go down Rt 23 for what seems like 2384203480 hours and it gets dark, and there are like no lights at all. Eventually, we look outside and its all fields and tractors and farmland lol. So we pull over into this really old and creepy inn to get directions. We walk in and its this little restaurant and this old couple sitting at a table. So we get freaked out so we dash outta there... but then realize that we really need directions so we go back in, and the old people are GONE! now that just creeped us out so we ran into the car and sped away and figured it out ourselves. Heh, things to rememeber: Hamburg, Mountain Creek (yea we were that far lol), Arby's, Mount Rush store (heh heh), Dairy Queen, about a buck (not a full dollar, but just about), fairytale forest lol. Oh man, good times Kristen! Then when I got home, people were apparently coming over to my house to hang out. So then Monica, Steph, Ali and Mickey and I just chilled in my room with some 'You don't know jack'... and we pretty muched didn't so. Man, I dunno what it is, but I can't wait to get back to school. Yea, I know, I'm a freak, but ya love me anyway

Wednesday~ Decemeber 29, 2004
The semsters all done, finals taken and such now I'm right in the middle of my month long winter break! Its been pretty good, work at the new carousel has been interseting. Its not the same as the BCC, but I'm dealing with it. Since its the holiday season, the malls jam packed with people, and yet they decided on riding the carousel in the middle of a hectic shopping day... weird huh. I wasn't really feeling the whole Christmas thing this year. I mean yea, I saw the Santas everywhere, every store had a sale going on, and I couldn't get that god forsaken Britney Spears Christmas song outta my head, it still didn't feel the same. I think its cause this season, I'm around new people, so I'm doing traditional things with different people... I dunno lol. This was the first Christmas Eve that my dad had to work, so since he got home late, we had to go to a later mass. Now that was kinda weird, its always been that way, the three of us spending Christmas Eve together... ah well.. this yea has been fulla changes, huh? So then Christmas Day, another change, we had guests lol. My aunt, uncle, cousin, and the newest addition to the family! Kayla was born four days prior and is the fifth US-born member of my mother's side of the family, me being the first. Isn't that weird? She is just adorable, she was so small lol. Christmas dinner was swell. Me liked lol. I went to go visit my dearest Desi yesterday after picking out new glasses. It was awesome seeing her again lol. I miss my MSU people, I'm hoping to see as many of them as possible this break! I got to see some people here at home during break, not as many as Id hope. I dunno...... are things changing?

Sunday~ December 12, 2004
So its December and that means that its concert time! Ok let's see if I can go in order. Last Friday/Saturday was the Lord of the Rings! I had no idea how massive this piece of music was until we actually did it. We had our first dress rehersal. It was so hard to pay attention! Well, for a few reasons: the place was HUGE! it can fit about 2500 people; theres this gigantic orb thing that was pretty distracting, the orchestra in front of us was beautiful, I love the strings section ^-^; the boy solist from the children's choir was funny. We had a buncha sit and standing cues, everytime we sit and stand, we would make soo much noise lol. And someone stole my folder! I mean just the folder! They took allt he music out, threw it on the floor and took the folder. I mean, yea it was nice to leave the music, but the folder was important too! And to top it off, someone stole my Tonal Harmoney book! We have a theif in the music department! (We really do, cause Gina's laptop was stolen too). So Saturday, I'm all set to get changed for the concert in Bova's dorm.. so I get to Blanton to see everyone standing outside. Apparently there's a fire in the building so everyone had to evacuate. After waiting in the cold for like ever, me and Dave decide on just heading to the only open building (McEachern) and get changed. I can now say that I got nacked in a practice room (the one with the nice Yamaha ^-^) Ok so the performances were madd! NJPAC was packed! I guess a lot of people wanted to hear the whole Symphony. Performing with an orchestra was quite the experience. Diner after the Saturday show was great too. ::one two teee::
Sunday was the BOND CONCERT!!! oh man it was awesome! Tho it wasn't the same without Ngy, Heidi, Ali and Nadia...I got to sit right in the front, had an awesome view, got lots of eye contact from the hottest string players on the planet. The best was when I totally stopped Korobushka but screaming out "You go, girls!", they couldnt stop laughing! I tried to take video, but some ass hardcore hit me everytime from behind, he was pretty rude! I bought a worl tour booklet and got that signed. Mad cool! They were so nice when I can up to them too! :)

Monday's concert was the symphonic band concert. I didn't feel like going so I just ate at Blanton with Dave and Chris instead lol. Weds I hung out at school, had dinner with Kara, Chris and Kristen. Then me and Kristen locked ourselves in a practice room, cranked up the iPod and went hardcore singing. We got so into it, that I would flash the lights on and off like we were clubbing. Thats right, now I can say that I was raving in a practice room. Oh man Kristen, we're awesome lol. Thursday night was the River Dell Concert. It was just the chorale groups, middle school and highschool. I admit it, I kinda miss being on those risers under the fierce conducting of Ms Smith singing the african folk tune, the tacky piano pop song, and the upbeat ending song. Select was awesome! I was so proud of everyone, it sounded great. It was kinda weird that I knew 2/3 songs that select did. Hosanna was great and the solos in Every Time I Feel the Spirit rocked. What made me really upset was seeing the Humanities Chorus. I just couldn't believe that is was an entire year since I was up there with the entire 2004 senior class. Oh man, the memories. Great job to Peck, Dave, Austin and Tobin. Friday night was the Chamber Singers concert. Amazing... absolutely amazing job guys, it sounded awesome. Before the concert was Des and Les time... at the diner. Prolly my last diner day of the semster. Oh man... So my first semester in college. It was tough; 2394320948 papers later, 2948239084 hours of practicing, 9348092384 of studying... Finals are right around the corner. And my piano jury is Thursday (were u perform and get graded in front of a.... jury!) I can't wait for the holiday break and see my friends again. On the same note, I'm gonna miss my McEachern High kids. But i'll see their sorry faces soon lol. Hope you guys have a great holiday!
