This sign was installed so the public can see what Mr. William Myers of Canon City has contributed to Habitat for Humanity in honor of his late wife. His major financial contribution has allowed this affiliate to build it's 6th house much sooner then would otherwise be possible.

This view also shows the Simmons family "digging in" on the day of ground breaking.

This is the initial excavation which was ready just about the time of our groundbreaking.
The next view shows the footing forms in place and poured-about one week later.

The stem walls were poured on 16 July,05. The framing of this house was donated by a group of commercial contractors on the 30th and 31st of July.

Ready for Singling on Aug 31st Shingled and ready for Electrical/Plumbing

House wrapped and stoops pored-Oct 10 This house has been wrapped,; electrical wiriing completed; basic plumbing completed; and awaits insulation on Oct 12, 2005.

Mar 18 dedication, and 1 Apr projected occupancy House completed by March 18, and ready for occupancy.
