On a beautiful day on the 16th of November, Fremont Habitat held a groundbreaking
ceremony to celebrate the starting of our third and fourth houses on our property on Robbie Lane, recently
named " Habitat for Humanity Estates".
On this day, a representative number of Habitat board members and volunteers came to attend the groundbreaking, meet the new homeowners and their families, and participate in the Call to worship and prayer of blessing offered by the homeowner's Pastor, Rev. John Taylor.
President Chris Hugins reviewed the history and purpose of Habitat for Humanity of Fremont County. She also identified the earliest members of this affiliate, and thanked everyone for their devoted committment and contributions which have made it possible in two and a half short years to build two Habitat houses and continue building on faith two more at the site of this ceremony.
It was announced by Tom Hart, Building Committee Chairman, that excavation would begin the following Monday- Nov 18. Everybody was pleased to know that construction of these two houses is finally underway.
