MODULE TWO-PAGOO PHONE SERVICES
Pagoo Phone is software that enables customers to take complete control of their communication needs without hassles, poor service, or delays in setup. Pagoo combines the telephony capability with the convenience of contact management software to provide customers with everything they need to communicate in real-time.
Also, Pagoo includes an innovative
feature called "Follow Me" that allows you to specify a number you want Pagoo
Phone to call if you are on the phone or away from your computer. You can forward
the Pagoo Phone to a cell phone or another number. This allows you to be reached
anytime, anywhere-no more waiting for messages!
The main difference between your
old traditional phone and the Pagoo Phone is that Pagoo works over the Internet
using a technology called VoIP, or Voice over the Internet Protocol. Your traditional
phone works with the Public Switched Telephone Network, or PSTN, copper wires
and technology invented by Alexander Graham Bell before most of us were born.
By utilizing the Internet, Pagoo bypasses the telephone company networks and
their old technology and confusing policies and pricing structures, and replaces
it with cutting edge communications standards. This reduces costs and allows
you to make and receive calls over the Internet as well as retrieve voicemail
messages.
Included in Pagoo are the Internet
Phone Number, Voicemail, Caller ID, and a saved Phone Book. Callers call you
on the Internet Phone Number, and if you are online, you can take the call or
send it to voicemail. If you are not online or not home, callers can leave a
message for you, or, with "Follow Me," you can customize Pagoo to route the
call to another number in the USA you specify. If you decide to have voicemail
take your message, you will be able to listen to the voicemail message the next
time you log on to the Internet anywhere in the world (with your laptop with
the Pagoo software installed, or any other computer with the free Pagoo software).
These services will all be discussed in detail in this module.
