Guide Dogs Galore
On our daily journey's, Kendal and I are often asked about what a guide dog is and what they do.  I thought it might be a good idea to creat a site that will help explain this in a fashon that would be fun and interesting for everyone.  Come join my friends as we explore what they do for a living.

In this site I have included photo's of my own guide dog's other photo's of different dog's when neccessary to illustrate the points I would like to make.
What is a guide dog?
A Guide Dog or Dog Guide is a dog that has been specialy trained to guide his/her handler safely from one place to another.  It is the dog's responsibility to :

              -  Guide his/her handler around obsticles
              -  To stop at curbs, steps and doors
              -  To lay quietly under or beside a table when
they go out for a bite to eat
               - To stay close to the handler and be on call
when ever the handler needs him/her

It is the handler's responsibility to:

                 - Give the dog the directions's of which way
                   to go.
-To let the dog know when it is safe to cross
                   a road.
A dog cannot read a traffic light or
signs so they need help there
.
                 - To keep the dog clean, fed and watered
                 - To make sure all shots and vet care are up
                    to date.

These are just a few examples of what the dog and the handler are responsible for
