Brooke SHIELDS
in People Magazine

Here is a quote on Brooke SHIELDS from the  May 8, 2000 issue of People magazine (one of USA's biggest and most successful magazines, published by Time-Life), the issue being "the 50 Most Beautiful People in the World 2000”.

Brooke is named as one. Along with her photo and text, this exactly-worded excerpt:

There's that 6-ft. frame, "a formidably large structure that's elegantly sculpted and creates a rare and powerful beauty," says "Black and White" director James Toback. Shields, who spins, cycles, kickboxes and jazz dances several times a week, says that she gets many comments on her long, toned legs. "And my upper body is really strong. I'm not frail in any way. I don't think it would ever be possible for me to be waiflike."

For those who, like me, don´t speak fluent English :
Waiflike: frail, break like a twig, we could envision lonely hungry orphans wrapped in a blanket, waiflike.
