Operation "Show Me Graduation"

Do you have a son/daughter graduating from high school/college while you are deployed (April/May/June 2004)?

Would you like to participate in the graduation ceremony by videoconference from your deployed location?

The Missouri Guard is committed to supporting deployed service members who may want to "attend" graduations "virtually" (by videoconference). Last year, the Missouri Guard supported several graduation events where Guardsmen participated from Afghanistan/Southwest Asia. We believe we can do more this year in support of those soldiers deployed overseas.

Here is the concept: The Missouri Guard will coordinate with your dependents, the unit family support group, the high school/college, and the technical representative on the deployed soldier's end to make the videoconference connection. The deployed service member participates from the base/locality videoconferencing location. Magic happens. There is no cost to you or your family.

We want to support you... but we need to know as soon as possible so we can schedule the resources and make the technology happen. Click below to go to the MOGUARD webpage where you can fill out a request form (the fastest method), if the link will not work click here to contact the video operations section. Someone will contact you within 48 hours.

Thank you for your service.
