23 December 2004 We wish all a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year With the short month and Christmas almost upon us we had little to say for our monthly news letter. Some of us tried out our sea legs in the Gulf of Mexico last weekend, and currently we are waiting on the pictures to develop. Our next letter will have some of our greatest, and not so great moments of sea sickness and big fish. This is the time of year to rejoice with friends, families, and loved ones. For those of you who will be traveling or have families that will be traveling we wish you all a safe trip. For the men and women who are unable to see their family we would like for you to know that you are in our hearts, and prayers. The sacrifice that all of you have made this year, and the resilience that all of you have express has shown great character for this battalion.
