"Come on! Start!" It was no use. Her car would not start. As Samantha dragged herself out of the red, drokendown car, she saw someone walking her direction. Embarresed as she was, she couldn't take her eyes off the teenager, so it seemed. One name came to her mind as he drifted his body towards her. Brian.
"Hi, are you Samantha?" his southern accent sounded so cute.
"Umm. . . yea, Brian?" she shyly questioned him.
"It's nice to meet you. Uh, what happened here?" Samantha knew that Brian was talking about her car.
"Oh, it just broke down." Brian started to chuckle when he put on a straight face. When he stopped laughing, they were just staring at eachother untill Samantha finally spoke.
"Do you wonna go back to my place? I mean, it's better then being out here."
I can't believe I just asked him! Brian seemed to like the idea of going back to her house, because he got all excited about the thought of: going back to her house.
Brian left the Stonebrakers' a little after three a. m. the next morning. The two had spent all night just talking and getting to know eachother.
     "Hello?"
"Hey, hey! I heard the news!" It was Alex.
What could he want this early in the morning? "Talking untill three this morning?! No wonder your so tired, girl!"
"For one thing, Alex, it's like, eight - thirty. What do you want?!" she laughed. She could never be seriuos with Alex. Nor with anybody, for that mater. "I'm always tired this early in the morning. You know that." As Samantha waited for Alex to talk, she heard nothing. Only breathing and the sound of voices in the backround. "How did you find out about Brian and I anyways? Isn't he staying with Kevin?"
"Well, yea, but, I got up early to meet Kev, and he told me that he waited up for Brian till he got home, which was past three this morning. So, when he got here, he told me what happened. So."
"Oh, okay. Well, listen, Alex, I'd love to chat, but I'm tired, and I'm gunna meet Brian later on today. And I don't wonna fall asleep in the middle of our date. Okay?"
"Date? Umm. . . okay, hahaha. I'm just teasing you, you know that, right?"
"Yea, sure. So, call me or I'll call you in about, three hours time, aight?"
"Yea, yea. You just don't wonna talk to me. I understand." Silence. "Haha, okay, later babe. Samantha?"
