As the weeks went by, graduation came closer to both Brian and Samantha. When Brian moved to Orlando, he enrolled in correspondence classes, which allowed him to stay on the same track as his high school classes. Which is aparently, is the same track as Samantha. They were just weeks apart in their graduation. So when Brian was ready to graduate, he, Samantha, and the rest of the group could go back to Lexington, Kentucky (which is where Brian lived all eighteen years of his life till now) so he can walk with his class. So when the time came for Samantha's graduation at Osceola High School, that's when everyone got all excited in Orlando. Lou Perlman (Backstreet Boy's manager) recieved a call early that day. Only three days before Samantha's graduation. "Hello? Lou here." "Lou?" the man had a Swedish accent, so Lou could barely understand him. But he knew exactally who it was. "Max! Hey man, how are you?" "Good. Listen Lou, you know that group you are trying to start? Umm. . . Backstreet Boys?" "Yea!" Lou exclaimed excitingly. "Well, I was talking to Denniz, and we both agree that you and the boys shoud come down umm..in about four weeks." Before Lou could thank the high pitched Swedish man, Max said, "But, we may not be there, so, there might be a chance we won't see you. Okay? You understand right? I have a job here, Lou, I can't always run around, waiting to listen to a new group you formed. Right?" "Right. I totally understand, Max. And thank you, you and Denniz." "Hey, Lou, I need help-" Nick said as he came up to Lou with a Math book in his hands. But before Nick could get out the last words, Lou qickly shook his head, and put his pointer finger up towards his lips as if to shush Nick. "I'll help you, Nicky. What problem?" Samantha saw the scene and ran over to Nick's side. "But, only you and the five boys, right? No one else?" Lou opened his mouth to answer, but couldn't. He was just looking at Samantha, knowing that she and Brian both would be terribly disappointed if she couldn't come. The same with Kristin, and Marisa, Kevin's and Alex's girlfriends. "Lou?" "Umm. . . not exactally. You see, three of them have girlfriends, and they all would be disapionted if either of them couldn't come." Once Lou mentioned 'girlfriend', she looked up. "And I sorta, kinda told them that it's be okay if they went. Becasue I didn't and still don't see the harm in it." It took Max about five to ten mimutes to answer. "Oh I see. Very well then. No more, no exceptions. Understood? I cannot have a bunch of teenagers running around singing or not singing in the office." "Yes, of course. They are all reasponsible for their own actions. Thank you very much once again. Good bye."
Three days later
"Samantha Stonebraker, please come forward." the School Seceritary announced into the speaker phone at the last graduation pratice that day, the big day. As Samantha stepped up on to the stage, she saw Brian, smiling at her in a distance. Of course, she smiled back. Brian would be singing with Samantha's chorus class at the Ceremony. "Samantha, you are going to be singing at the Ceremony, right?" Samantha nodded, trying not to laugh at Brian's distractions, which were that he was making silly faces befind the School Seceritary. "Okay, then you will have to be here tonight earlier then the rest, okay?" "Uh, huh," still trying to hold it in, Samantha licked her lips and coughed to get a giggle out. "Ok, so, then after this practice, I want you to right over there," she said, pointing to an empty space near the office. "Alright, dear?" Again, holding the laughter in, she nodded. Once the School Seceritary left, she and Brian busted up laughing. Before she turned to return to her seat, Brian lipped, "I'll see you later, baby. Let's do it."
