As the months past, Samantha and Brian got closer. Much closer. It seemed like every two seconds they were kissing. Now that the Backstreet Boys were a big hit in Europe, with three number one singles and an albumn soon to come out, they were always at the after parties after a show, almost every day of the week. They were competely unseperable, and Brian felt as if he was finally in love. To him, Samantha WAS love. His first love and High School sweetheart. One day, Brian wanted to show his feelings to her. To let her know how he really felt about her. As he led his long - time girlfriend up the stairs of her house, and to her old bedroom, he gentally closed the door. "Samantha, I care about you a lot. More then any other girl. You know, right?" Samantha, to excited to say anything, nodded. "And, whatever I've done to hurt you in any kind of way, I'm sorry. I'm sorry for anything I've done to hurt you. . . either in here," he slowly rubbed her shirt where her heart was. ". . . or here." then his hand rose to the side of her head. "I just want you to know that I . . ." as the words came out of his mouth, tears began to flow down his cheeks as he let his head drop. When he was able to raise it again, he finished his sentence. "That I love you, Samantha. I love you so much. And that's why I want you to wear this," when Samantha looked down at Brian's hand, he held out a small black box. Inside the small black box was a ring. The most beautiful ring Samantha had ever seem. It was a princess - cut diamond band he had bought in New York. Brian slid the ring on to Samantha's index finger, leaned over, and kissed her hand. "This is a promise ring. A promise that we will get married soon. We're gunna get married and have a bunch of kids." he sniffed as he dried his watery blue eyes. |
