It has been five days after Samantha got her "Mysterious Sickness", and she was still vomiting everywhere. After the first night of having the stomache pains, she had to be taken to the bus, where she was bedridden on an extra bed. She couldn't keep anything down. Anything that went in her came out five minutes later. Brian would always be bringing her bread and water. They had suggested her going to the Hospital, but, Kristin siad that it wasn't such a good idea for an American girl to be going to a foreign Hospital where English is a non-spoken lanuague. But Samantha didn't care. She had to go to a Hospital, foreign or not, and she knew it. For four days she expected someone to take charge of the situation and take her to a Hospital. No one did, not even Brian thought of the idea beacuse they were in Germany. Also, one of their managers wouldn't allow it becasue it could lead to the press that the boys have girlfriends (which kind of is too late!!), and it could delay their tour schedule. But on the fifth day, while the boys were up onstage, Angela, the boy's make-up artist, came in the room where Samantha was bedridden with Kristin, Kevin's girlfriend. "Okay, I'm taking this child into the Hospital. I don't care what Donna or anyone say. This is a very dangerous sign, what she's been doing for the last five days." Angela said to Kristin. "C'mon, call an ambulance. Get Kyle, he knows how to speak German!"
"Huh?" Samantha opened her brown eyes to blur.
"Samantha, honey, we're calling an ambualnce. You're going to a Hospital."
"Brian. I need Brian!" she whailed.
"He's performing right now, sweetheart. I'm sorry. He'll be with you soon. Just hang in there." Angela looked up of shouted, "Kristin! Did you call?"
"Yea! Kyle's talkin' to them now!"
"Good. Just hang there, Sammy. We're gunna get you help." Angela took Samantha's hand as Samantha rolled over and closed her eyes. She wanted Brian with her. She wanted to tell Brian where she was being taken to. She wanted to hold him so that he could portect her and tell her everything will be fine,'. But no. He was on stage, performing. Not with her. Not protecting her. Not telling her that everything will be fine. And she couldn't tell him where she was being taken to. Samantha felt something cold against her skin. She opened her eyes to find Brian's promise ring on her finger, laying against her cheek. She looked at it and closed her eyes, remembering that night when he led her to her room and told her he loved her. When she opened them again, they were no longer dry. Tears came down her cheeks as she kissed the ring, and whispered, "Good-bye."
Doctors in Germany told her that she had stones in her gall bladder. She had them in their for five entire days! Which was very dangerous. Samantha took the next flight out to Orlando. Since Brian hadn't done what he should of (taking her immediately her to the Hospital), Samantha felt Brian, "let me down" and she lost trust in their realationship. As months past, she nor Brian, felt the same. Their realationship wasn't as strong as it was. Which is sad. Then it came a time were they "grew apart". As such young couples, they matured and Samantha figured out that she didn't want to be in the entertainment business. She wanted to go to get an education and graduate college. And that's what she did.
Today, Samantha has graduated at Univorsity of Central Florida college w/a Bacheloer of Science Degree. Brian, as most of you know, is a famous singer in a group called the Backstreet Boys (duh!!!!). Both Brian and Samantha have went their seporate ways. Samantha is a "healther and happier" woman, at 23, whom is in love w/a wonderful man, Stephan. Brian has also moved on, it took sometime for both, but. He has moved on w/a non-wonderful (i don't like her, & she doesn't like me, much either!) old woman.
When I grown up (i'm 13 now!), I want a realationship like Brian's and Samantha's. I actually admire both Samantha and Brian for thier 'sacerafice' in breaking up. I admire that, really. And from the looks of it, Samantha is one of the sweetest on earth! I can see why Brian liked her so much. (not to get corney!). But, then again, I am sad for their break up b/c they loved eachother and I just find it SAD. But I'm soo happy Sam has found happyness w/her Stephan!! :) And please keep in mind that this story is basically true. I got my facts and my urge to write this from Sam's book, What you wonna know: BSB Secrets only a girlfriend can tell. Some parts made be made up, but that was b/c i couldn't find out the real facts! sorry! I hope all is well w/both of thier lives and hope someday they can be best friends again!!
