Blazin' Squad fans will be pleased to hear that three of the members have now formed a new band called ‘Friday Hill’, named after an area near where they grew up. Kenzie, James and Mus popped into Kix to talk about what we can expect from them, Kenzie’s Celebrity Big Brother memories and the single life after dating Jodie Marsh.
Tell us about your debut single
Mus: It’s a bit more of a grown up sound than what we did with Blazing Squad, a bit rockier.
Do you still see the other lads from Blazing Squad?
James: We keep in touch as much as we can. They’re busy doing their own thing, but we’ll always be mates.
Are you pleased that you’ll only have to split the money three ways rather than ten now?
All: Yes!
I’ve got a bone to pick with you – I went to meet you at the crossroads and you never did turn up! Where were they anyway?
James: Wherever you want them to be!
what about the friends you made in the Big Brother House Kenzie, do you see much of them?
I bump into Caprice now and then, speak to Jeremy every so often and I took the lads racing with John McCirick recently which was a blast!
So what did happen with you and Jodie?
We met in a nightclub, there was a spark and it went from there. We’re not together now but still get on fine. So I’m single again and enjoying every minute of it!
Was it intense with the paparazzi when you were together?
It could get too much, especially when we were on holiday in the Caribbean. Jodie was my first celebrity girlfriend so I’d never experienced how full on being followed around can feel.
Watch out boys, if the band does as well as we think it will you’ll have lots more being followed around to deal with!
