Exercise During Pregnancy
Doing exercise is good during
pregnancy, as long as it isn't too stainious. Swimming is excellent, try
to do exercises that strengthen muscles and prepare the body to give birth.
As well as exercises that help the body to relax.
A tense body cannot rest properly
during pregnancy, therefore it is also important to rest.
When doing the exercises, have
a bottle of water in quick access to you, take a few 5 or 10 minute breaks
during the exercises it is important not to make the body over heat.
Here are a few exercises to
try:
a)walking
b)cycling (only in the early
days of pregnancy, as you get bigger balance will be hard to maintain.
c)dancing
d)swimming (always have someone
with you)
Don't do exercises such as
these:
a)touching toes
b)jumping jacks (when you jump
in the air, spread your legs and clap you hands above your head
c)anything that includes using
alot of balance
d)anything very strainious(advanced
yoga or taebo)
