The Last Few Months Of
Pregnancy
The last 1 or 2 months of pregnancy
are about the toughest. You have now gained about 20 extra pounds and have
to carry yourself around daily. Try to get a lot of rest and continue eating
healthy.
You've gone through many changes
already, but the biggest change
is yet to come, when the baby is born. Your body will spend these last
months doing final preparation for labor.
By Now any sickness you were
feeling before has now ceased. At this time the baby is about fully developed
inside of you. It is good to visit your doctor and discuss any final plans
or thoughts with him/her. Though these months may be stressing, the back
aches, foot cramps etc. you'll forget what you went through when your baby
is born.
Try to keep off your
feet as much as you can in
these last months. Eat right and get ALOT of rest, it's very well needed.
Try not to do anything strainious. Especially don't bend or do anything
including the need for you to balance. Don't excerise too long, try to
stay out of too hot areas, keep out of jacuzzis no matter how much relaxation
they give you, they can cause your body to over heat.
In these last months your baby
should be anywhere from 17
inches long to maybe 20 inches, depending on how much its final birth weight
may be.
Especially during this time,
when ever driving in a car, put the seat belt below your abdomen, it is
dangerous to have it around your waist, in the event of an accident it
can cause serious damage to your unborn child.
Try to go to labor classes,
they teach you many ways to breath etc. and help reduce the pain during
labor. The give you tips and information you may not even know exist. I
wish you all the best of luck.
