Thanks to progressive scan DVD player, the picture is awesome. With a THX - Ultra Certified receiver, the sound is incredible. You have to hear it to believe it. There are 4 surround sound speakers, two are on  the side and two are in the back. You can see one on side (wall mount) an one in the back (ceiling mount). Three more speaker are in the front (left, center, right). The subwoofer is hidden in the cabinet. Details specifications on the electronic gear can be found here.

With a remote control, the lights dim out for total theatrical experience! (the screen is 8' wide)

Yes, I built that cabinet along with everything else! Note that the color of the curtains is a bit misleading, they are not as dark as they appear in the picture.
