Jennifer Aniston and Brad Pitt's new home is steeped in Hollywood history and has many unique features. It also has plenty of bedroom space for babies... The property has a reputation in Hollywood circles for being a hot party location. The house was originally built for movie star Frederic March in the 1920's. The actor was infamous for throwing wild celebrity bashes at the house with guests including Errol Flynn and Humphrey Bogart. THE HOUSE
1) Bedrooms: The house boasts three bedrooms, all on the top floor of the three storey property. The master bedroom boasts a unique vaulted ceiling and four-poster bed. 2) Fireplace: Situated in the middle of the kitchen the fireplace is so huge that several people can stand upright in it. This feature probably won't get a lot of use during those barmy Californian evenings, but is eye-catching nonetheless. 3) Normandy Style Kitchen: One of the house's major selling points is the massive European-style kitchen that runs the length of one of the property's two wings. But the kitchen's most stunning feature is a massive TV screen which, at the flick of a button, rises up out of the floor ready for action. 4) Wine Cellar: In the basement of the property you will find a fully-stocked wine cellar. Just off the cave-style cellar is the property's second dining room. Complete with an oval table and matching chairs, this dining room is the perfect place to settle down and sample some Californian wine. 5) Rose Garden: Tucked away at the bottom of the property's rolling lawns is a rose garden. The garden was originally planted in the 1920's in keeping with the European flavour of the house and has been blossoming ever since. THE POOL
Brad bought the Beverly Hills mansion for $13.5 million, a steal according to Los Angeles property developers. The house, situated just north of Sunset Boulevard and a stone's throw from neighbours Danny DeVito and Hugh Hefner, will officially become the couple's base when they eventually move in. But despite the whopping price tag, rolling gardens and panoramic views, contractor Tom Klinck, who has worked on the property, says, "The house is very large and very plush, but the thing is that if you compare it to the old houses that you can find in Europe, it is nothing more than a swanky shed." Now that is the kind of shed we could all do with at the bottom of the garden.
