ER stars George Clooney and Noah Wyle are both in in a friends episode. The episode is called "the one with two parts, part 2"
and at the end of the first part Rachel fell from her balchony and was hanging by her ankle and was attched to some christmas lights. She was taken to the hospital but she had no insurance so she would have to pay so she pretends to be Monica. Her and Monica then get dates with the doctors who treat Rachel but they then of course have to keep to the same names but everything goes coaotic and things become confusing.
Helen Baxendale who played Emily in quite a few episodes of friends was also a famous charecter. She was a main charecter in the series cold feet and in that series her name was Rachel! The most obvious episode she was in was the London episodes which were her and ross's wedding, but everything that could possibly go wrong, does including Ross saying Rachels name at the alter instead of Emilies. Rachel was the person in the first place who introduced Ross to Emily and Rachel was going to London to stop the wedding but decied not to. Emily later sees Ross going on their honey moon with Rachel . This is the last episode she appears in apart from a phone conversation where she is checking up on Ross to make sure that he is not anywhere near Rachel.
Jennifer Saunders, from the comedy partner act french and saunders was also featured in the London episodes and played Emilies step mum. Emilies parents fight with Ross's parents through out the double length episode because Ross's parents offered to pay for half the wedding but Emilies parents try to con them by getting them to pay for re-decorating their house, but the fighting stops once Ross threatens them with no grand children.
Robin Williams also appeared in friends but his charceter had absoulutly nothing to do with any story line. The friends gang are sitting in the coffee house in their normal positions when Robin Williams comes over with his friends and asks if they can sit down, the friends say yes so they do. Then the gang listen into the conversation and Robin is talking about his wife having an affair and it then turns out that the friend is the one having an affair with his wife and Robin Williams causes a huge scene and then storms out of the coffee house and then the episode continues.
Issabella Rosaliney was also a guest star and was i n the episode when Ross and Rachel were going out and they had lists and the both got to choose five famous people to put on it. Ross put Issabella on it but then decided not to go with her cos he would never get to meet her. So he finalises his list and then Issabella walks into the coffee house and Rachel says he can go for it anyway and he tells her about the list and then she sees the list and realises shes not on it and then she walks out and ross says "we're just gonna be friends".
