Series 5 -
Episode 1: The one after Ross says Rachel - After Ross mistakenly refers to Emily as Rachel at the altar, Emily decides to continue with the cerimony but punches him after the nuptials and flees from the church. Meanwhile, Monica and Chandler try to continue with their affair, but are unable to capture a moment alone.
Episode 2: The one with all the kissing - Back in New York, Ross's atempts to rekindle his relationship with Emily go unappreciated. Still doe-eyed from his relationship with Monica, Chandler keeps forgetting that he must not kiss her in front of the friends. Rachel returns from Greece havin used Ross and Emily's honeymoon package.
Episode 3: The one hundreth - The friends rush Phoebe to the hospital for the birth of the triplets. Chandler is miffed because the baby named after him turns out to be a girl. Ignorant about Monica's affair with Chandler, Rachel arranges a date fro her with a hansome male nurse.
Episode 4: The one where Phoebe hates PBS - Joey challenges Phoebe to perform a selfless act. Meanwhile, Monica tries to cover up her affair with Chandler by telling Rachel that she is secretly dating someone from her work. After endlessly harrassing Emily's relatives, Ross finally gets her to call him from London.
Episode 5: The one with the kips - Monica and Chandler go to Atlantic city together to spend a weekend alone. Ross tries to tell Rachel that he will not be able to be friends with her when Emily arrives in New York.
Episode 6: The one with the Yeti - Whilst rummaging in the apartments storage room, Monica and Rachel run into a hairy neighbor they initially mistake for a yeti. Meanwhile in an attepmt to smooth things out with Emily, Ross agrees to get rid of everything of his which Rachel may have touched, including his apartment.
Episode 7: The one where Ross moves in - Since his marriage to Emily seems to be coming to an untimely end, Ross is forced to move in with Chandler and Joey however his annoying quirks soon start to drive the others mad. Rachel is convinced that Danny, the new neighbor is trying to seduce her with mind games.
Episode 8: The one with all the thanksgivings - After the usual feast the friends reminisce through a series of flashbacks about their worst thanksgiving memories. Phoebes worst memory takes her back to a past life in 1862, and elaberate stories are told to uncover Monica's worst thanksgiving.
Episode 9: The one with Ross's sandwich - Ross is destressed when a stranger at work eats his special thanksgiving leftovers sandwich. Meawhile Joey is fed up of havind to dream up alaberate lies to cover up Monica and Chandlers relationship. Phoebe regrets asking Phoebe along to literature.
Episode 10: The one with the inapropriate sister - Monica asks the sute neighbor Danny out on Rachels behalf, however, after witnessing the unusually close relationship he seems to have with his sister, Rachel has second thoughts about his eligability. When Joey loses his current acting job, Ross encourages him to write a show which he can star in. Phoebe joins the salvation army.
Episode 11: The one with all the resolutions - As 1999 aproaches, the friends make resolutions some of which are in direct conflict with others. The best resolution, however comes from Monica, who starts documenting their every day lives with photos which they all can enjoy.
Episode 12: The one with Chandlers work laugh - After spending time with Chandlers boss and wife, Monica discovers that Chandler has a work persona which includes a fake laugh for is boss's jokes. Rachel is upset that Monica has not told her about their affair. Everybody is suprised to hear that Emily is getting re-married.

Episode 13: The one with Joey's bag - When Rachel gives Joey a makeover for a part he is auditioning for, she includes a shoulder bag that looks like womans purse. Meanwhile, Phoebe is suprised when Frank sr. shows up at her grandmothers mermorial service and Monica tortures the gang with painful massages.
Episode 14: The one where everybody finds out - When Phoebe discovers Monica and Chandlers secret relationship, she decides to flirt with Chandler to see how he reacts. Ugly naked guys apartment goes up for rent and Ross goes to extreme lengths to form a bond with him and beat off the other applicants.
Episode 15: The one with the girl who hits Joey - When Joey starts dating Katie, he is suprised that despite her petite build, her playful punching is quite painful. Ross has problems ingrigating himself with the new neighbors and Chandler starts to freak out over his relationship with Monica.
Episode 16: The one with the cop - Whilst rummaging in the back of the sofa at central perk, Phoebe finds a policemans badge. Rather than returning it to the city precint, she decides to conduct 'good deeds' through out the city. Meanwhile, Joey is worried that a romantic dream he had about Monica may mean that he loves her.
Episode 17: The one with Rachels inadvertent kiss - During an interveiw for a job at Ralph Lauren, Rachel inadvertently kisses her potential boss on the cheek as she leaves. Monica becomes concerned that her relationship with Chandler isn't as hot as Phoebes new relationship with Gary.
Episode 18: The one where Rachel somkes - When Rachel starts her job at Ralph Lauren, she decides to take up smoking so that she can be part of the work related decisions that appear to be made in the smoking area. Joey and Ross's son Ben audition together as father and son in a soup commercial.
Episode 19: The one where Ross can't flirt - All the gang including Joeys Italien speaking Grandma, go to watch Joeys debut in 'Law and order'. After meeting Caitlin the pizza delivery girl, Ross decides to order more pizza so that he can flirt with her and turn on his supposed charm.
Episode 20: The one with the ride along - As Emily's wedding rapidly approaches, the gang does their best to occupy Ross's time. Meanwhile, Chandler, Joey and Ross go out on the beat with Phoebes new cop boyfriend and Chandlers feelings are hurt after Joey jumps in front of Ross and not him, after they hear gunshots.
Episode 21: The one with the ball - Joey and Ross try to break a record by throwing and catching a ball for hours on end with out dropping it. Meanwhile, in an attempt to fulfill a childhood dream, Rachel buys a sphinx cat, but when it turns out to be vicous and mean, her dream is shattered.
Episode 22: The one with Joey's big break - Joey is very excited about getting the lead in a movie that is being filmed just outside of Los Vegas. Having decided to join him on the trip, Chandler is thrown out of the car, after confessing that he thinks that the movie is not going to be Joey's big break.
Episode 23: The one in Los Vegas (special double length episode) - When his film gig in Vegas falls through, Joey resorts to working as a casino Gladiator, but chooses not to tell anyone. Meanwhile, back in New York the friends decide to pay him a suprise visit.
In the city of lights, the fun begins. Ross and Rachel stumble through the hotel and casino together in a drunken stupor, whilst Chandler and Monica make a serious bet about marriage. There could be wedding bells but for whom?
