The group, which was not known yet as the "Friends Forever Club" yet, formed just this summer of 2000. It all started because of a phone call. Jaime is attributed to be the founder of the group for he was really the one who called the other members. At first, the phone calls made were just simply to tell stories, but later on they had purpose. Jaime, fortunately, has kept close contact with the Paulinians, the girls that their class has interacted with. They would play a very important role in the lives of these young individuals.
Hubert was the first person Jaime called because of a batch party of the Paulinians, way back. Since then, the two have talked and shared stories. When the two got bored and tired of each other, they tried to call another person to keep them company.
The chosen one, was Kiven. Amazingly, he kept us company and was the first to reach the 3:00 barrier with the other two. He put the phone down against the will of Hubert and Jaime, but nevertheless, it was a start. Soon, follow-up calls were made, and more people came to the scene. Later on, Kiven would play a major factor in the group's situation on their summer.
Dennis soon appeared because of Kiven. They are close friends, and even before, Jaime and Dennis has been close, because both likes to sing Savage Garden songs. We were not able to talk much though, because he himself, was a quiet person. After quite sometime though, Dennis learned to open-up, and he went along fine.
It wasn't long until Dominic came into view. Jaime was called up by Dominic, seeking to meet new friends. Jaime introduced them to the other guys, and the girls as well. Dominic's appearance in the group made it an indirect fact, that this group would last. He has always been considered as a person with authority, and with him around, it looks like a pretty positive effect for the group. Then again, we really don't know that we were already a group back then. Dominic soon became a permanent member of this summer.
Michael was of course, has always been there, because he has been in close contact with the other girls, specifically, Rachel. He was the only guy, the girls could really open up to. He acted as a "best friend" for Rachel, where she seeks comfort from Michael. Michael, is also known as Kermit, because of his face, which they say, looks like the face of Kermit the Frog.
Well, EJ really was one of the very first people the girls hanged out with, a week after the interaction with the Paulinians. Because of this, and his friendship with Hubert, he became a part of the group. He has been though, not really a part of the summer phone brigade, but still, he remains to be one of the members of the group.
OJ appeared when he was asked one day if he would like to accompany the rest of the guys in a hangout with the girls. He agreed and it was the beginning. It was not summer then, but it was already the early part of the schoolyear, but that instance gave him a membership right in the group. He gets to talk to the girls, and associate with them.
Cara was absent all summer long. He was in Bulacan and sure did miss a lot of fun. The first time he joined the whole group was when the group visited Rachel's mother in QCMC. He was introduced to the girls who were also there visiting. Since then, he became close to the girls, and he became part of the group.
Marvin was close to Jaime, and because of this, one way or another he became part of the group. He wasn't part of the summer experience, but he has joined the group in several hangouts with the girls, and soon, he became close to the girls as well. He was not really very active in regards of the group affairs, for he himself was a member of another group.
With all of these backgrounds, for some reason, the guys formed into what is now known as the "Friends Forever Club", one of the groups, simply impenetrable to divide, for the bondings that have developed in each and everyone of them is simply to tight to loosen. There are still no signs or ways that are possible for this group to divide. There has been a lot of challenges, but the group continues to win over those struggles. Other groups of the class has started immitating the group, making them as an example on how their group should be. Some say they envy the group, some are angry because of the success of the group, and some want to be part of the group. There are a lot of reactions in regards with the group, but still, the group is our group. We sure are proud to be a member.
