Currently, there is no distribution of tickets by Warner Bros.
According to tvtickets.com,
Warner Bros. suspended distribution of general admission audience
tickets in mid-September 2001. The suspension has not been lifted.
For now, only people with "connection" with the casts
or crew will have a chance to get the ticket. If there's any news
about ticket, i will post here.
METHODS TO GET TICKET:
"Connection": A girl has
an aunt working as a housing agent. Her aunt help David Schwimmer
to sell houses. Knowing this, she asked her aunt to request few
tickets from David. Of course she got the tickets!
If you know any crews working in the studio or you know someone
who know someone who know someone who know the casts, you may have
a chance. Still no chance? Read others' taping
experieces.
Auction: Sometime, those who got the
ticket decided to sell the tickets to the general public, for a
certain sum of money. Usually place for bidding is ebay.com.
Price can be high though. Once a man grabbed $600 for 2 tickets.
Sometime, the producers also auction the tickets to raise money
for charity. Now this is crazy. A woman paid $15 000 for 2 tickets.
She said it was for charity anyway. The tickets allowed her to appear
in the episode(as an extra). Worth it? You decide.
Tour the studio: According to a person,
You may have a chance to watch if you were touring the studio at
exactly the same time it is shooting. If there are empty seats and
you request to enter, there may be a chance.
I don't know if this method works. There is a possibiblity.
