Telecommunication Engineering


This branch of engineering deals with communication systems, like cables, radio, satellite communications, television, radar, navigational communications equipment. All types of information and transmission networks are the concern of telecommunication engineers. Each of these are specialised fields of work in themselves.

Employment

Telecommunication engineers work with the defence services, in the broadcasting sector, electronic or mass communication sector, with the government as well as with the manufacturing industry.
