| 03.02.2002 - Gorillaz finished their successful 2001 year in Russia! | |||||||||||||||||||
| At last! We can be proud! The results of 2001 in Russia are here and very nice! | |||||||||||||||||||
| 1) In the final MTV "Chart of 20 the best" for the 2001 year (where the best 20 videos for the whole year were collected, if you didn't get it) "Clint Eastwood" is number 6 That is really nice, from my point of view... | |||||||||||||||||||
| 2) MTV-Russia made the final "chart of 100 best videos of the year" "19-2000" is 38. Guess, where is "Clint Eastwood"? NUMBER 2!!!! Yeah-yeah, the only band who could compete with our darling Gorillaz was "Tatu", so it's kinda scaring to see Gorillaz so popular! :) | |||||||||||||||||||
| 3) In May alter-zone on MTV showed "Scala" concert and best Blur videos. Blur is quite popular now! Gorillaz were one of the favorite theme in our music mags and I got lots of interviews, pictures, news and other stuff (mostly hung on my walls, but I got no place for some of them and I have no idea what to do) If you would like, I'll translate some of them for you in the Press section, just inform me about your wish - guestbook or e-mail are suitable for it! | |||||||||||||||||||
| 4) Generally - Gorillaz won everything they could and dominated all charts in April-May. Now the whole fan-world is holding breath: there must be something to prove everyone that Gorillaz will not loose their popularity in 2002! | |||||||||||||||||||

| You would not believe it! I got pretty scaring news for you! I just found a new CD named "Gorillaz. Platinum Collection '2002" and including 21 (YES! 21!!!) songs! Besides usual there are "19-2000 soulchild remix', "Ghost Train", "The Sounder", "Faust", "Dracula", "12D3", "Left Hand Suzuki Method" and "Clint Eastwood Ed Case remix"! Illegal, very illegal thing, yeah! Ha-ha to everyone who said that I would never get them!!! But! The most interesting news for YOU is here: I got small paper with words "Introduces Gorillaz" inside it! That's what Jamie says about each of Gorillaz! | |||||||||||||||||||
