FWF Saturday Storm - August 6th, 2000

As Storm kicks off in the wake of No Escape, former FWF Champion Ted McDougal makes his way to the ring. After welcoming FWF fans back after the short break and plugging the next PPV, Odd Man Out, Ted made it very clear that he felt he got screwed out of his title and called out Pirahna. It didn't take much coaxing as the new FWF Champion made his way to the ring. Ted announced that he was exercizing his rematch clause for the title in the main event tonight! Pirahna made it clear that he accepted, and only one of three things would happen: he would give Ted either a wee, not-so-wee, or friggin' huge ass-whipping tonight.

FWF INTERCONTINENTAL CHAMPIONSHIP
No Limit Soldier vs. Mr. Skeets and the Revenge of the Chicken Run Blast-o-Rama(c)
Mr. Skeets was set to make his first title defense since winning the belt at No Escape by defeating Nate Palm in the first ever Cardboard Box Match, and started out early with a shoulder block, but was quickly taken down by a No Limit Soldier headlock. Soldier then went for a leg drop, but Skeets was able to move, and began kicking Soldier in the abdomen. Skeets then continued the focused attack by waiting for Soldier to get up and delivering a vicious knee to the abdomen. He then took down Soldier and began focusing on his legs with elbows and kicks. He continued his ground and pound technique, but left himself open for Soldier to hit a tilt-a-whirl slam out of nowhere. When he tried to continue the offensive though, Skeets went right back to the legs again, including a belt shot to the leg that the referee missed. With Soldier weakened, he then picked him up and hit a vicious DDT for a two count. Skeets then locked on the sharpshooter, but at that moment Southtown hit the speakers, and Delinquent, who hadn't been seen since becoming the first Intercontinental Champion at Wrestlefest, ran out and attacked Skeets, earning him the DQ victory. (3:02) Delinquent, complete with cast on his arm, cleaned house, knocking out Skeets and Soldier. Delinquent then grabbed the mic and said he wanted a title shot for the belt that he never lost. Nate Palm, the former IC Champion came out at that point and said that he wanted his title back too. Skeets, a fighting champion, stated that he'd take on both challengers, then promised to embalm all of his enemies as Storm went to break.

As Storm returned, it was announced that an Intercontinental Championship match had been signed for next week on Storm, featuring Mr. Skeets defending his belt in a triple threat match against both Delinquent and Nate Palm. Cracker, the new Hardcore Champion, then made his way to the ring and offered an open challenge for his title to anyone who accepted. Heywood Jablome, making his FWF debut, accepted the challenge, leading to our next match.

FWF HARDCORE CHAMPIONSHIP
Cracker(c) vs. Heywood Jablome
Heywood wasted no time making his way to the ring and started by taking down Cracker, as the two engaged in some amateur wrestling which Cracker got the advantage in, but then turned the match to a little more of a garbage match by grabbing his noodle and beating Jablome with it. He made the mistake of allowing Heywood to get back up though, and Heywood was able to grab Cracker's Hardcore title and beat him with it. He then dove at Cracker again, who sidestepped it and punched Jablome in the head. Jablome grabbed a bat though and cracked Cracker upside the head for a two count. Cracker then got up and hit a DDT, followed by an elbow drop and a leg drop. Cracker then continued his ground and pound strategy as the fans began chanting to "take his hat". As Cracker continued the attack, Jablome decided to try this strategy, and grabbed the hat off his head and threw it away. Cracker snapped and chased after it, but this distraction allowed Heywood time to grab the bat again and take out Cracker's legs. Heywood picked Cracker up though and left himself open to a series of belly to belly suplexes for a two count. Cracker continued the offense with a series of punches, but then Jablome picked up Cracker for a spinebuster, then began assaulting him with a microphone. Jablome then went for another spear, but Cracker was able to get out of his way, then jump on his back and lock on the Cracker Jacker for the submission victory, retaining his title. (3:40)

Batman vs. Thor
This next match on Storm featured the debut of another FWF Superstar, Thor. Before the match even began, Batman suffered an injury as the referee tripped him during his ring entrance, but when he realized he didn't know CPR, the referee ruled that the match would still take place. It actually started when Batman tried to pinch the cheeks of Thor, but Thor didn't take kindly to this and punched Batman in the stomach, then began slapping him. Thor then threw Batman down and went for a pin, but the referee was off using the bathroom so Batman was able to get out. Thor then hit a knee drop, then farted on Batman, who threatened to punch Thor, but still missed. Thor then hit a DDT, and tripped over the downed Batman when the ref pushed him. Thor hit a series of forearm smashes to Batman's back, then jumped on it, taking the Caped Crusader down again. During this, Batman lost his mask, which Thor paraded around with, but the referee grabbed it and threw the mask back to Batman, then pushed Thor down again. Batman took advantage of this and grabbed Thor for a DDT, his first offensive move! Unfortunately for Batman though, the impact of the move on his own back caused him considerably more pain than he expected, leaving him open for the pinfall, the 123, and Thor's first win in the FWF. FWF WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP
Pirahna(c) vs. Ted McDougal
Storm's main event was up next, featuring Ted McDougal's rematch for the FWF Championship. Before the match started, Ted got on the mic and announced that since Commissioner Ca$h couldn't be found anywhere after turning on Ted at No Escape, he had just gotten off the phone with Mr. Hawke, who announced the new FWF Commissioner, Ted McDougal! Ted then began to gloat about his newfound power only to be met with a punch to the face. The match began, and Pirahna started off with a bulldog to the challenger, followed by repeated punches to the face. Ted then grabbed a stick and began whipping Pirahna, who responded with a low blow. When Pirahna came at Ted though, he did the same, kicking Pirahna low and then going for the Bagpipes. Ted proved to be a bit overzealous though, and Pirahna reversed the move and splitting Ted's legs with a wishbone. Pirahna then whipped ted off the ropes and hit his clothesline for a two count. Pirahna continued kicking Ted, but Ted was able to grab his leg for a rollup and a close two count. Before Pirahna could get up, Ted then locked on the Boston Crab, but Pirahna was able to slip out and lock on a sleeper hold, which he transferred into a near fall. Pirahna then attempted a leg drop, but Ted was able to move out of the way, but before he could take advantage, The Ice's music hit in the arena. Distracted, Ted was rolled up from behind for a near fall. The music stopped and the match continued as Pirahna ripped off Ted's shirt and choked him with it, then locked in a Boston Crab of his own, which Ted was also able to get out of. Ted then grabbed his shirt back and choked Pirahna with it. As soon as he let up though, Pirahna threw the shirt in Ted's face, kicked him in the groin, and followed it up with a DDT for a near fall. Ted got up and continued whipping Pirahna with the shirt, then whipped Pirahna into the ropes for a vicious spear. With him down, Ted then distracted the referee and hit a low blow, followed up with a slam and then the Crippler Crossface. Pirahna escaped that too though, but before he could do anything, Ted hit a standing splash for a two count. Ted then decided the match was over and hit the Bagpipes, but before he could get the cover, The Ice's music hit again, and this time he ran out with a chair and attacked both men, cleaning house and leading to a no contest. (6:53) The Ice then grabbed the title belt and posed over Ted and Pirahna's bodies as Storm went off the air.
