ALTERNATE ART - SOVERIGN |
- Command Soverign is, at heart, an Art of command, and no cantrip fufills that requirement better than Command. Not unlike a low-key form of Dictum, Command allows the caster to cause a target to involuntarily perform an act of some sort. System: The Realm determines the target of the cantrip. The command given must be vocal, and must be something that is not obviously harmful to the target. It must also be something that they would do for someone who they considered their leader. The number of successes gained must be equal to the target's Willpower divided by 2 to succeed. The target will perform the command for their next action. Type: Chimeric |

- Aura of Rage All sidhe possess the ability to become supernaturally frightening when angered. This cantrip duplicates the effect, as well as enhancing it if it is already present. Commoners find it useful to mimic sidhe might, and sidhe use it to further strengthen their already potent might. System: The target of the cantrip determines the Realm. The target immediately develops an aura with the same powers as a sidhe in a fury, with all the rights entailed therein. If it is cast upon a sidhe who is already affected by their aura, it magnifies it. The difficulty to attack them increases to 8, with two successes required. The cantrip lasts for one turn per success on the casting roll. Type: Chimeric or Wyrd (Wyrd affects mortals as well as fae) |

- Willbreaker A fairly lesser-known cantrip, greatly feared by those who know of it, Willbreaker allows the caster to reduce a target's Willpower, allowing other cantrips (and non-magical tricks) to be more easily used. WIth it, the caster can turn the strongest soul into a sniveling wretch. System: The Realm is determined by the target of the cantrip. Successes are divided between power and duration. Each success spent on power reduces the target's Temporary and Permanent Willpower by one. Duration works as per the rules for Chicanery 1, Fuddle. Halfway through the cantrip's duration, the target recovers half their lost Willpower (round down). Temporary Willpower points are not recovered. Type: Chimeric |

- Grace of Calliope All sidhe possess a certain facility with social interactions, and with this cantrip, they can become even more adept. Many sidhe find the use of this cantrip simple to aid their leadership attempts, and to sway others to their causes. Alternately, they can lower the social graces of an opponent, further widening the gulf between them. System: The realm for this cantrip is determined by the target of the cantrip. Successes are divided between power and duration. Every success on power increases (or decreases) a Social Attribute by one point. Increasing an Attribute past five, or decreasing it past one (not counting Birthrights), requires two successes per point. No Attribute can be raised past 8 or lowered past 0. Every success spent on duration grants one minute to the cantrip's duration. Remember that if a Social Attribute is reduced to 0, the target automatically fails all related rolls. Type: Wyrd |

- Bind the Dreaming It's easy to control a person. Controlling the Dreaming itself is significantly more difficult. However, with this cantrip, a changeling can draw the Dreaming's power into the mortal world, creating almost any effect that they desire. The effects rarely last, but while they do, they can be frighteningly powerful. System: The target of the cantrip determines the Realm. This cantrip works exactly the same as The Merry Dance, with two important exceptions. First, it functions in the mortal world, in the same way that the Dreamcraft varient works in the Dreaming. Secondly, and obviously, the caster doesn't have to wait for a Firchlis, which will never strike the mortal world anyways. Effectively, anything is possible over a short term and radius. The effect is extremely Wyrd, and can lead to massive bouts of mass amnesia among mortal witnesses. Type: Wyrd |
