Arwen Undomial
Arwen is the daughter of Lord Elrond of Rivendell, and Grand-daughter to The Lady Galadriel, of the Golden Wood.
She is famed to be the most beautiful of all living things. She has long black hair, as dark as the sky and unearthly blue eyes. She is believed to be Millennia old and she holds intimate wisdom of the ages and lore of the Elves. But even though she is an Elven Princess, she is in love with a mortal.
In the Fellowship of the Ring, Arwen falls in love with Aragorn and binds herself to him saying she'd rather live one mortal life with him then live a thousand lives alone. She gives him the Evenstar, which is a sacred Elven jewel in the form of a necklace. When she gives this to him she binds her heart to him, her life.
In the Two Towers she is faced with the choice of leaving with the Elves for the Undying Lands, or remaining in Middle Earth with Aragorn. After much toil she chooses the Undying Lands and leaves, but not before saving Aragorn. She leaves the Evenstar with him.

Arwen was raised in Lothlorien by the Elves and Aragorn, after his parents were killed, was raised by Lord Elrond in Rivendell.
"The Light of the Evenstar does not wax and wane, it is constant, even in the greatest darkness."
"I bind myself to you, Aragorn of Dunedain: for you I will forsake the immortal life of my people"
"If you want him, come and claim him"
"What grace has given me, let it pass to him, let him be spared, save him."
