A few of Haymarket Park, the home of the University of Nebraska Cornhuskers baseball team and the Lincoln Saltdogs of the Northern League.  This is a place where I spend way too much time.
Pioneer's park, a large park on the west side of the city.  Most of the pictures were taken in January of 2004.  The bison were taken in early spring of 2004.
I have a small backyard, but it gets it's share of critters in it.
Just a few shots outside my house during the winter of 2003/2004.
The site of Landis Field.  This was where minor league ball was played in Lincoln during most of the first half of the last century.  The only thing that was there then and is still there now is this old mile marker that was outside the right field fence.  The DLD stands for Detroit-Lincoln-Denver.
The brain damaged cat.  It's tail is not the only thing it's missing.
The Ice Box.  This rink is home to the Lincoln Stars of the USHL: and is the only ice rink in the city.  This is another place whre I spend way too much time.
Sherman Field.  This little ballpark was home to Lincoln's minor league teams from 1947 through 1961.  Players such as Dick Stuart, Bobby Shantz, and Hall of Famer Nellie Fox played here.  Now it's home to high school and American Legion ball.
