Speaker's Corner in London. These were taken while I was staying in London during the OJ trial. |

|
Just three typical tourist views of London from St James Park, the Houses of Parliamant and the city from across the river in Greenwich. |

Four views of Rochester Castle north and east of London. Two of the keep, one of the walls inclosing the bailey with the River Medway beyond, and one of Rochester Cathedral taken from the top of the keep. This is the tallest keep still standing in the UK and was the scene of a bit of nastieness when King John had to take it back from some Barons who had a problem with him. |

Part of the Roman ruins at St. Albans north of the city. There is a great cathedral there too, but I could not get a good shot of it. |

Cardiff Castle, a classic early Norman motte and bailey castle, a vew of Bute Park from the castle walls and a vew of the 17th century residence along the west wall. This place has been occupied since Roman times and while it looks like it's out in the countryside, it's right in the middle of downtown Cardiff. |

The wonderful little castle at Guildord south and west of London. Two of the little keep and one of part of the remaining walls enclosing the bailey with the houses and countryside beyond. This place was once a royal residence and then was used as the county lockup for a few hundred years. Now it's just a lovely little ruin in a park setting. |

Four from Swansea, Wales. The first one is what little reamains of Swansea Castle. It's hard to get a good picture of it since there is so little left of it and it's right in the middle of downtown Swansea. The next two are Oystermouth Castle, a small ruined castle in the suburb of Mumbles on the outskirts of Swansea overlooking Swansea Bay, and Mumbles Head and the bay from the castle walls. Oystermouth just might be my favorite castle of all. The last is of the bay from my room in Swansea. I was lucky to be right across the street from the bay and could lay there and watch the ships go in and out of the steel works at Port Talbot, Wales across the bay from Swansea. |

Me on my first trip to Europe. The city several thousand feet below me is Innsbrook, Austria. Damn, I looked like a dork in those years.. |

Me standing behind Jim Morrison's grave in Paris and being my normal lovable self.. This was taken in the mid or late 90s during one of the periods when I was staying in London and took a short trip to Paris. |
