FANCY FROG LEGS
2 tablespoons bacon drippings or olive Oil
2 pounds frog legs
Flour
1 cup onions (chopped)
1 cup green onions (chopped)
1/2 cup bell peppers (chopped)
1/2 cup fresh parsley (chopped) or 1 tablespoon dried parsley
1 12-ounce can Mushroom Steak Sauce
1 4-ounce can Mushroom Bits and Pieces, and Garlic
2 tablespoons Worcestershire Sauce
Salt and pepper to taste
Cayenne pepper (to taste)
Heat the bacon drippings in oven over medium heat: Flour the frog and brown
on both sides, then remove from the oven and set aside. In the drippings,
saute the onions, peppers and parsley until the onions are clear, stirring
occasionally. Stirring, add the Mushroom Steak Sauce, Mushroom Bits and
Pieces, and Garlic. Continue to cook another 10 minutes. Add Worcestershire
Sauce then the frog legs, salt, pepper and hot sauce, Stir again. Cover
and let cook on low for about 1 plus hours. Serve with rice.
