Q: How did you find not playing on Centre Court? Svetlana: Not playing on Centre Court was very unfamiliar for me. Court One is different from Central Court. It's very hard playing on one side of the court. Spectators in one of the stands are constantly moving, on the other side somebody's clapping, then somebody's shouting. And so it's very difficult to concentrate on tennis. Q: Who do want to play in the next match - Safina or Mauresmo? Svetlana: Amélie and Dinara are my good friends and it will be difficult to play against either of them. Q: What did your father say? Svetlana: Dad didn't say much, but everything's very straightforward. Q: What sort food do you like, or what do you eat? Svetlana: I love Russian cuisine. I love ravioli, herring, sauerkraut, but of course this is not the only things that I allow myself to eat. I eat more athletic foods, that is not fried, without mayonnaise, without all the extras. I try to eat in portions and not to mix anything together. |
