Well, I'll tell you. I have an ongoing love affair with these animals. They're beautiful, intelligent and utterly amazing. We all know that an elephant never forgets...that's not a myth. Did you know that elephants cry? That they mourn the loss of a loved one? That they can paint? No really, elephants can paint. Take a look at the pictures and you'll see what I mean.
Sadly, Asian elephants, like the ones you see painting, are in danger of becoming extinct. African elephants are faring a little better, but not by much. We simply can't let these glorious creatures disappear; not without a fight. Learn more about them and what you can do to help.
