1. My name is April Nichole.
2. I was born May 7, 1976.
3. I've been married twice, currently to my second husband, Shaun.
4. I was married the first time for about 4 years, this time we're going to set a record for eternity, but so far we have 7 years.:)
5. I have one child, a son, Evan Dwayne who was born August 4, 2001 and was 10 weeks premature.
6. I'm a SAHM and have been since I found out I was pregnant.
7. I was born in Germany as my biological father was in the service.
8. I was raised in Alabama and Tennesee but reside now in California.
9. I love being near the ocean though I rarely get to go!
10. I'm generally a shy person, but can talk just about anyone under the table if you get me started.
11. I don't know exactly what my natural hair color is...it's been too long! I was blonde when I was little though.
12. I have 3 sisters and 3 brothers, but was only raised with 2 of my sisters, and haven't even met one of my brothers.
13. I was married before either of my sisters were...heehee.
14. I'm the only one of my family who resides in California, the rest of MY family live in Alabama.
15. I met my current husband in an online chatroom.
16. I spent about 2 weeks with Shaun before I decided to up and move from Alabama to California to be with him.
17. After being with Shaun for only 3 months, poof! I got pregnant with Evan. The entire time I was with my ex, not once did we get so lucky. (Personally, I think God was on our side!)
18. I love going places and seeing new things.
19. I hate flying to get to those places! I'm terrified of heights, at least to some degree.
20. My favorite tv show is Golden Girls.
21. I love music from the 80s, particularly the hair bands!(Poison still does it for me!)
22. On the other hand, I'm a huge fan of groups like New Kids on the Block...nope, I'm NOT ashamed to admit it!
23. My favorite movies range from Gone with the Wind to Titanic to Last of the Mohicans to Gangs of New York to Battlefield Earth. Can't forget Gone in 60 Seconds either, I loooove Nicholas Cage!
24. I collect cherries, ladybugs, and anything with 'Princess' on it!
25. Online, I collect anything teddy bears!
26. I'm a self-taught web designer, though I still consider myself an amatuer compared to some of my favorite sites!
27. I was granted an art scholarship to a community college in Alabama, though I didn't take advantage of it...and yes, I kick myself sometimes for NOT doing so!
28. I love to paint and draw, but don't do it often.
29. I love writing poetry, but don't do that often anymore either!
30. My favorite color is purple, but that changes from week to week!lol
31. I like reading Danielle Steele novels and sometimes Stephen King, depending on my mood! It's been a long time since reading either!
32. I like to watch my hubby while he's sleeping. I adore how peaceful he looks.
33. Same goes for Evan. He looks like an angel when he's sleeping and I take pleasure in knowing he's MY angel.
34. I love time alone with Shaun, even if we're not doing anything. We don't get it much anymore so I think we tend to value it more.
35. I love seeing Evan off at school. It makes me proud seeing how far he's come.:)
36. I have a cat, Latte, who came with me from Alabama. That makes her really old!
37. I am 100% night owl. Always have been and most likely always will be!
38. I am NOT a morning person!
39. I love scary movies, even though at almost the age of 30 I STILL get nightmares about them after I watch them!
40. I am fascinated by natural wonders...i.e. Yosemite, Grand Canyon...does Disneyland qualify?lol
41. Speaking of, I've only been to Disneyland twice. Once when Shaun and I came into California when I moved here and again in December of 06 with me whole family. It was a Christmas gift from my inlaws to all of us and it was such a blast!! Seems most people here in California grew up there!
42. I love to watch the Discovery Channel when it's about things like volcanoes and hurricanes or tornados and earthquakes, but that's as close as I like to get to any of em.
43. I hate golf. I hate the Golf Channel. I hate golf shoes and golf clubs that clutter up my closet...But I still love my hubby and I don't hold it against him...lol!
44. I hate the heat. I'm fluffy and I don't handle it well!
45. I love Christmas and everything about it!
46. I like to be able to give my son things that I couldn't have, sometimes even when we can't afford to...which isn't always good. Never anything extravagant though!
47. I like grocery shopping with my little boy and my husband. Nothing like good quality time together in the freezer section!lol
48. I suffer from a mild case of a irritating skin condition called psoriasis. For those who don't know, it's basically just really really dry skin patches...I have it on my elbows.
49. I love long hot baths.
50. I like to go camping, though I don't get to go very much. It's been a very long time since I have been actually!
51. I'm a true romantic at heart and love the little things in a relationship.
52. I love to impress my husband, no matter how I do it!
53. I am best friends with my mother, though it took me growing up to get there.
54. I love spending time with both of my sisters, each for different reasons.
55. Ironing and washing dishes are relaxing to me.(Don't ask!)
56. I hate to clean floors.
57. I love the smell of fresh cut grass.
58. I hate doing yardwork, but I love the results and sitting on the swing on the back porch admiring what you've done after a long days work.(That's thanks to my dad.:)
59. I love that I can call my best friend Amy and talk to her as if we just talked yesterday even if we haven't spoken in 6 months.
60. I love that Amy is still my best friend, even after all these years.(We've known each other since we were freshmen in 1990.)
61. I love making online buddies...i.e. Angie, Helen...my CGF friends:).
62. I love my independence.
63. I love the security of my marriage.
64. I couldn't live without Mt.Dew.lol!
65. I could live without MTV.
66. I hate bugs...like spiders and ants.
67. I hate snakes with a passion!
68. Until I met Shaun, I had never had coffee from Starbucks or Javaroma...now I love white chocolate mocha!
69. Until I met Shaun, I had never tried guacamole or avacado or chinese food. Now they have their own food group in our household!
70. I sleep with 3 pillows and I prefer to have my own sheet.
71. I sleep with my eyes open just a little bit...so I've been told!
72. I have a childhood habit of twisting my hair.
73. I clip coupons and forget to use them.
74. I am a very unorganized person!
75. I love being the center of attention so stop what you're doing and pay attention!lol!
76. Comfort to me is a pair of flip flops, shorts and a tshirt.
77. I love to read to Evan, even though he prefers Spiderman or Transformers to Danielle Steele.
78. I love to play cards, particularly UNO...but I hate to lose!
79. I love horses, not sure about riding them though...it's been years!
80. I used to work for Wendy's for about 6 years...the surprising thing is I liked it, even the management part!
81. I do not support war, but am very much against terrorism and if it means going to war to prevent terrorism, so be it.
82. I am very proud American even though I was born in Germany...was an army brat.
83. I like to sleep with the fan on because the humming of it helps put me to sleep.
84. I secretly love the Three Stooges...not a secret anymore I guess!
85. I am fanatical about my nails.
86. You won't ever see me with unpolished toenails.
87. I like Care Bears and Hello Kitty...I don't care how childlike that sounds!lol
88. I hate late night talk shows.
89. I love reality shows, though I think they're getting a little out of hand!
90. I miss my grandma and wish she had been here to see Evan.
91. I love the smell of laundry coming in off of the clothesline.
92. I love to take pictures and home movies but I don't like to be in either!
93. I think little things are cute...like the mini travel items of shampoo and detergent.(Silly, I know!)
94. I cried when I saw the last episode of Roseanne, Seinfeld and Golden Girls...I still do when I see them now!
95. I loved the feeling of being pregnant.
96. I'd love the feeling of being pregnant again!
97. I miss spending time with my mom on a moment's notice.
98. I was raised by my mom and my stepfather.
99. I graduated in 1994 from an itty bitty high school!
100. I didn't attend my 10 year reunion.
