In between the broken trees the noises gather and the leaves conspire
The vagrants and the tramps take refuge there
We are only visions, tired apparitions taking in the grace and beauty
The ugliness and death
The smiles and the starlights
All the vanities and impurities surrounding, mounting cellophane distractions
But as the stillness of the night air chips away
these cold restraints, the slumbering awaken
Along the banks and strewn about the riverbeds we
gather up the petals and the spells
The soundstrings and the bells
To call upon the restless souls
But for the handlers and the hunters, the pirates and the prisoners
there will be no rest tonight
For the trees lie broken still and the leaves they still conspire
We have come to eat yr vicious teeth
