(Shane)We all made it(well Brian cheated a bit and used an air-ambulance for part of the journey but I think we will let him away with that). Fair play to us. I arrived back into Dublin Port on Thursday night just in time for a few scoops with the lads. I really enjoyed my first pint of Guinness in nearly 7 months, and my second one, and my third one and......! I think I'll have another one! tonight. The other two lads were in geat form and it was really good for us all to meet up again. I was really good catching up with everyone. Heres a quick summary of the last leg of the journey. Germany and France were good although I never stopped anywhere for any more than one night. At this stage I was just trying to get home. I was completely wrecked, my money was almost gone and I had a fierce thirst on me. I ended up having to cross England and Wales as all the ferries from France to Ireland were full. I had intended visiting some good friends in different parts of England however I was completely run down/wrecked and suffering from an infection(in my nose of all stupid/painful places) so I just got off the ferry early on Thursday morning and drove solid for the whole day arriving in Hollyhead just in time for the evening sailing on the fast ferry. This got me to Dublin port for 10.30 and not long afterwards I was sitting in the pub havin a pint of the black stuff. It was a really great feeling driving down the ferry ramp and touching down onto Irish ground. It really felt good to be back. I think I can now appreciate what a great country Ireland is and also I have learned how important friends are. I missed yee all and I will do my best to catch up with yee over the next few weeks. Thanks for listening, Signing off for now, Shane T. and Mr Blue. In Addition: Just to update yee on whats happening with the other two lads. Brian has made an amazing recovery. I met him on Thursday night. I was evpecting him to be in a wheelchair or something but he was flying around. He said he still has a bit to go but he said he was completely amazed at how his body managed to recover from the countless injuries which he had. He is in great form and he too can be seen any Thursday night in Mulligans of Poolbeg Street....... Kevin made it home for Achill and by all reports everyone had a ball. Plenty of scandal from what I hear. He had arrived a week earlier and headed for home(Just outside Enniscorty, Wexford) supporting one rather fine example of a Mullet(dodgy long at the back shorter at the sides) haircut. He had neglected to tell his parents the finer point of his 6/7 month trip. I think he left out the fact that it involved driving a motorbike. He said he drove up the driveway and his da had not got a clue who he was. No-one in his family was expecting him to arrive by motorbike and I,d say the mullet threw them a bit too. Kevin was also in the pub on thursday night but to my dismay the mullet was gone. Apparently there are loads of photos so I'll trying to track those down. Wee are all in great form.I HOPE YOU ENJOYED LISTENING TO OUR(MOSTLY MINE I,M AFRAID) STORIES AND FOLLOWING OUR ADVENTURE. ONCE I GET RESTED FOR A FEW WEEKS I'LL DO MY BEST TO CREATE A PROPER WEB SITE. CALL BACK IN A FEW MONTHS TO SEE MY MASTERPIECE. I ALSO HAVE ABOUT 26 HOURS OF VIDEO FOOTAGE WHICH I WANT TO MAKE INTO A SHORT DOCUMENTARY(I'll let the world know when I think they are ready for it). WHO KNOWS I MIGHT EVEN GET AROUND TO WRITING THAT BOOK. WATCH OUT FOR IT OVER THE COMIMG YEARS. IT WILL PROBABLY BE CALLED SOMETHINK LIKE "ME AND MR BLUE" (I'LL WORK ON THAT ONE). WELL WE HAVE DONE OUR BIT NOW ITS YOUR TURN TO GET OF YOUR ASS AND MAKE YOUR DREAM HAPPEN. HAPPILY HOME, Shane, Kevin and Brian. (ADVENTURERS)

13th August. I,m in France and about 150km from the border. Myself and Mr Blue have been ripping up the autoban over the last é days. I think we even reached 90 kmph at one point. The fact that the speed limit is 130+ did not phase us although I,m surprised I did not get arrested for going so slow. I have no road map and the motorways in Germany have the best signposts. I,m still not sure if I will go through England(probably not°. If anyone can track down Conors phone number for me asap it would be greatly appreciated. Mr Blue has been a bit tempermental lately. Heres some of whats gone amiss in the last week: Tight links i.e. chain about to snap= new chain, New chain too short+ no chain link remover= 2 hours+ bashing away at the olb chain with anything I could get my hands on? Blow out, part of hub falling off wheel. Chain joining link breaks. Nut falls off-fairly inaccessible; Another nut falls off totally inaccessible5involved trip to some Germans bikers friends workshop out in the country(cheers mate)) etc. etc. Ohh and the brakes failed today; But the great thing is I dont mind at all. Me and Mr. Blue. Out there and both falling appart. See yas.............................Well I,m now in Romania. I had loads of problems at the border. The customs people were demanding bribes and I would not pay. After a bit of a standoff and an intervention by a New Zealand buisinessman running a polish company in Romania they decided I could go. When the customs officer went to get my passport he could not find it. He had given it to someone else. After another hour and a half a German car arrived with my passport. They had got 50km up the road and realised they had my passport. It was to late to go any further so I had to stay in an expensive hotel which has left me with no local currency. I had to change the chain on my bike this morning which should have taken 20mins but took hours. The new chain was too short and I had to brake links off the old chain to fit on to it. The problem was that I had no chain link remover. After allot of bashing improvising and bending of nails and skinning of fingers I finally got it working. Being late leaving I was not able to make it to a large town to get more money. No I'm in this place and they wont take dollars and I aint got nothin else. They dont like the look of me either. I'm covered in oil wearing my filthy driving trousers and I have not shaved in a few days. I think I'm goign to have to go to an expensive hotel where they might take visa. Shit my poor money. Well I better try to blag some sort off accomodation before it gets dark. Shur I can always put my tent up in the main square.Thats all for now.
